Legal history
Société Nouvelle Africaine de Distribution was registered in March 2008 as a single-member limited company and became an SARL in March 2009.

Origins
In the 1990s, the family business behind SNAD developed an informal trading activity in Dakar and imported the very first insecticide in Senegal. Insecticides became the historical base of the distribution business.

Development
The company progressively diversified its range. In 2022 SNAD launched Tenn in Senegal, notably Tenn Superbrillo, under its exclusive distribution relationship with ORO Brands; SNAD Direct followed in 2026.
